Job summary
A leading Indonesian company is seeking a Software Engineer (Back End) to design, install, and maintain software systems. This role involves developing new software programs, updating databases, and ensuring software optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Python or Golang, experience with SQL (PostgreSQL), and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. This position offers a chance to significantly improve system performance and contribute to a skilled team.
Qualifications
- High degree of proficiency in server-side languages like Python/Golang.
- Experience working with SQL, especially modern versions of PostgreSQL.
- Experience with test-driven development.
- Experience in coaching team members.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members.

Software engineer (Back End) will work directly under Software Engineering Manager thatwill be playing a key role in the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of software systems to help businesses be more efficient and provide a better service. Software Engineer might be responsible for writing and coding individual programmes or providing an entirely new software resources.
What you will be doing :
- Develop, test, and implement new software programs
- Design and update software database. This includes, but is not limited to: Software Applications, Web Sites, Data Communication Processes and User Interfaces
- Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization
- Independently install, customize and integrate commercial software packages
- Facilitate root cause analysis of system issues
- Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing
- Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability
- Resolve complex technical design issues
- Development of technical specifications and plans
- Analyze user requirements and convert requirements to design documents.
- High degree of proficiencyusingserver side languagelike Python/Golang
- Experience working with SQL, especially modern versions of PostgreSQL

- Communication skills to interact with team members and support personnel
