Job Description

Manage and review monthly tax compliance (WHT 23/26, 4(2), VAT) for multiple entities across different business sectors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Lead the preparation and reconciliation of Corporate Income Tax (CIT) Returns, ensuring all required attachments are complete and accurate.

Ensure tax account balances in the financial statements align with tax reporting, flagging discrepancies for resolution.

Support tax audits and dispute resolution by preparing necessary documentation, coordinating responses, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and summarize key takeaways for internal teams, escalating critical issues to the Senior Tax Manager.

Identify potential tax risks, propose operational improvements, and implement corrective actions where needed.

Provide technical tax support in business model discussions to ensure compliance and highlight potential tax risks, referring strategic matters to the Senior Tax Manager.

Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Accounting teams to support the execution of tax strategies.

Assist in the implementation of tax planning initiatives as directed by the Senior Tax Manager.

Oversee and mentor the internal tax team, ensuring operational efficiency and knowledge sharing.

Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders on tax-related inquiries, escalating complex matters when necessary.

Maintain relationships with external consultants, tax authorities, and auditors for operational tax matters while the Senior Tax Manager handles high-level engagements.

Assisting the Senior Tax Manager in analysis, reporting, and operational execution.

Ensure tax initiatives and projects are executed efficiently, keeping the Senior Tax Manager informed of progress, challenges, and required escalations.

Handle day-to-day tax operations with the Senior Tax Manager.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or related fields.

8+ years of hands-on tax experience, preferably in Travel, Advertising, Tech, or Financial Services industries.

Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, including VAT, CIT, and Withholding Tax.

Proficiency in tax applications such as e-Faktur, SPT Unifikasi, e-Form, Coretax.

Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for tax analysis and reporting.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage tax teams and interact with stakeholders.

Experience handling tax audits and objections, focusing on documentation and compliance.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment, balancing multiple responsibilities effectively.
