Job summary
A logistics company in Karawang is seeking a Gateway Manager to enhance operations and efficiency. Responsibilities include optimizing the layout of the Gateway area, ensuring timely loading and unloading, and leading daily operations. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and experience in logistics. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage. This position is pivotal in improving team capabilities and operational strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree in any major.
- Proven experience as a Gateway Manager in a logistics company.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Plan and optimize the layout of the Gateway area.
- Enhance work efficiency and operational quality across all gateway activities.
- Ensure quality and timeliness of loading and unloading as well as departures.
- Optimize resource utilization and minimize outsourcing costs.
- Lead daily operations, including training and teamwork.
- Propose and implement operational improvement strategies.
Skills
Education
- Proven experience as a Gateway Manager in a logistics company.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in any major.
- Willing to be placed in Karawang,preferably domiciled in Karawang.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of stocking & warehousing processes, especially for electronic equipment.
- Familiar with TKDN (Domestic Component Level) regulations.
- Knowledge of Customs procedures.
- Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain & Logistics operations.
Job Descriptions:

- Ensure quality and timeliness of loading and unloading (both external and internal) as well as departures.
- Optimize resource utilization and help minimize outsourcing costs for loading and unloading.
- Lead daily operations, including providing briefings and short trainings, building teamwork, and developing staff capabilities.
- Propose and implement operational improvement strategies at the site.
