Job description

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Overseeing Corporate Income Tax (CIT), VAT/GST, and ensuring the compliance
• Manage Standard Costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Audit & Internal Control: Liaising with external auditors and ensuring J-SOX compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (Mandatory)
• Professional certification is highly preferred (CPA, CA, or local equivalent like Tax Brevet A, B, & C)
• Mandatory Manufacturing Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years in Finance/Accounting, with at least 5 years specifically within a Manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in Cost Accounting (Standard vs. Actual Costing) is a must. You must be able to explain production variances (material, labor, and overhead) to the plant manager and HQ.
• Hands-on experience with Inventory Management, including stock-take procedures and valuation of Raw Materials, Work-in-Progress (WIP), and Finished Goods.
• Proven track record in handling Corporate Income Tax, VAT/GST, and Withholding Tax.
