Junior Process Engineer

A leading energy solutions provider in Jakarta Selatan is looking for a Process Engineer to assist in documentation and process design. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience and a strong background in P&ID design and process simulation. Key tasks include collaborating with senior engineers and developing diagrams and reports to optimize design processes. This position requires technical expertise in the oil and gas sector and the ability to go to project sites as needed.
Qualificações
- More than 10 years in a similar position or similar field.
- Willing to go to the site or other Centres if required.
- Full knowledge of engineering standard codes and regulations.
Responsabilidades
- Assist Senior Process Engineers in preparing documentation.
- Conduct heat and material balances using simulation software.
- Develop process flow diagrams for unit operations.

- University Graduate with on Technical Major
- More than 10 years in a similar position or similar field
- Junior / Fresh Graduated Process Engineers
- Maximum 3 years experience in oil & gas Process Design engineering in EPC Company is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Willing to go to the site or other Centres if required.
- Engineering standard codes and regulations.
- Engineering technical software tools.
- P and ID mechanization. Capability to design and coordinate P&IDs for related systems. Full knowledge of Discipline workflow and of Discipline mechanization of procedures and criteria. Full knowledge of Discipline P&IDs mechanization battery limits.
- P and IDs, PFDs, block diagrams. Expertise in the preparation, and optimization, of block diagrams. PFDs and P&IDs. Capabilities in managing the integration with piping and instrumentation disciplines relevant to system design. Understanding of the critical issues in the design complex system and capability to steer the piping and metallurgy disciplines into the appropriate choice of material and installation constraints.
- Process design and equipment sizing. Expertise and experience in the design of different unit operation and equipment design criteria, standards, and methodology for equipment, valves, packages piping, etc. including relevant safety requirements and standards.
- Process dynamic simulation. Knowledge and experience in dynamic simulation e.g., dynamic model to support overpressure analysis, design, and operation of the compression system, tuning and optimization of operating parameters.
- To assist the Senior Process Engineers in preparing the documentation required by the Client, including all Process drawings, calculation reports, and data sheets.
- To assist the HOD / Process Leader in several bid activities.
- Elaborate, define, size, and validate within a process team the various items, units, and technical deliverables to be implemented in the project. Work under the supervision of the process lead.
- Develop heat and material balances using simulation software.
- Develop process flow diagrams to show unit operations necessary to convert feedstocks into on-specification products, in the most economical manner.
- Define and size equipment and instrumentation to be implemented and issue relevant process data sheets.
- Elaborate piping and instrumentation diagrams (P and IDs).
