Overview
We are a foreign engineering technology company based in Batam, specializing in the design, development, and manufacturing of equipment for the upstream energy industry. We are seeking a committed and results-driven Senior Marketing Executive to strengthen our market presence and support our growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries by providing accurate information about company profile, products, and quotations (RFQs).
- Support the preparation of tenders and RFQs, in coordination with suppliers and logistics partners.
- Develop professional marketing and presentation materials to showcase the companys capabilities.
- Assist in planning and executing marketing strategies, including market analysis and recommending effective approaches.
- Drive marketing initiatives across both digital and offline channels.
- Monitor customer contracts, purchase orders, and inquiries, ensuring timely and proper follow-up.
- Review purchase orders and translate customer requirements into clear internal work instructions.
- Maintain effective communication with customers regarding product specifications, delivery schedules, and service standards.
- Liaise with the Finance team to ensure accurate invoicing and documentation.
- Represent the company during customer visits or business trips when needed.
- Perform other sales and marketing-related tasks assigned by the company.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Science, or a related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in marketing, sales, business development, or production planning (experience in OCTG/manufacturing is a strong advantage).
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; design/presentation skills using tools such as Canva or Adobe are a plus.
- Understanding of production operations, quality systems, and international standards such as ISO 9001, API Q1, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of API 5CT products, MRP, forecasting, and inventory control will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, with proven skills in sales planning, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and results-driven.
- Familiar with production cost structure, delivery scheduling, and process improvement to support sales and marketing objectives.
- High integrity, adaptability, and strong self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
