A leading coatings company is seeking a Sales Manager in Semarang to develop and implement commercial strategies, achieve sales targets, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in sales, particularly in wood coatings, and demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills. Strong knowledge of UV and WB coatings is essential for success in this role.
Develop and implement long-term commercial strategies.
Responsible for achieving the annual budgeted sales and accountable for P&L by delivering top-line objectives and executing activation programs to drive commercial success for assigned businesses and territories.
Develop new business by promoting products and implementing sales objectives.
Collaborate with R&D and marketing to develop sales strategies and roadmaps to meet customer requirements.
Identify changing market trends and understand customer needs; collaborate with internal stakeholders and monitor progress.
Prepare weekly and monthly update reports on pipelines, targets, budget achievement, forecast accuracy, review new business opportunities, and planning.
Deliver on KPIs including P&L.
Knowledge in UV and WB sales and technical aspects.
Monitor and report on competitor activities.
Requirements
Education: University Degree in sales, marketing, management, or chemistry (plus).
At least 8 years of experience in sales or business development, with a minimum of 3 years in wood coatings.
Demonstrate sound knowledge and experience in selling UV and WB coatings.
Ability to work within a cross-functional setup, demonstrating strong influencing skills at all levels.
Strong ability to develop and drive business-wide processes.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Some coating troubleshooting experience.
