General DescriptionHead of Supply Chain is responsible for developing and executing a robust end-to-end supply chain strategy that ensures product availability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence in a general trade environment. This role drives alignment between procurement, production, logistics, and distribution while fostering strategic relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement integrated supply chain strategies that align with commercial and operational objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations across procurement, production planning, inventory control, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
- Lead demand and supply planning to ensure optimal product availability and cost control.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Product teams to forecast needs and manage supply-demand balance.
- Establish and track KPIs to monitor operational performance, service levels, and cost efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes and systems.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, logistics providers, and suppliers to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team, focusing on capability building and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards in all supply chain activities.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in end-to-end supply chain roles, including at least 8 years in a leadership position within FMCG.
- Proven ability to lead complex supply chain operations across diverse geographies and channels.
- Strong data analysis, planning, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP and supply chain systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
