FP&A Senior Analyst (Food, Ads and Merchants)
We are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner for our On-Demand Services (ODS) vertical. In this role, you will be assigned to partner with one of our core products (Food, Advertising, and Merchants), providing advice across a broad range of financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting and performance management.
Responsibilities
- Business Partnering - be a thought partner to our product leadership, helping to translate business metrics/requirements into clear financial impact/results and vice-versa. Apply business judgment and financial insights to assist Business Units (BU) with decision-making related to new initiatives, products, and business opportunities.
- Provide finance leadership with insights into product performance and trends based on financial/business data and on-the-ground interactions with key product stakeholders.
- Weekly and monthly performance reporting: report and analyze trends and variances between actuals, forecasts, and plans. Design financial dashboards for relevant KPIs with stakeholders.
- Data Analytics - work with data sets (large or small) to extract insights and make recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support assigned Business Unit for monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range planning processes (e.g., rolling forecast and annual budgets).
- Provide regular projections/forecasts of Business Unit performance, offering CFO and leadership an independent view on performance.
- Ad hoc analysis to uncover growth opportunities, cost efficiencies, or to mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification in Accounting, Business or quantitative fields.
- 2–4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, preferably in an FP&A or business partnering role for 1–2 years.
- Strong communication skills with multiple stakeholders across various levels of seniority, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to translate business requirements into a financial view and vice versa.
- Structured, critical thinking with the ability to think through analyses methodically.
- Proficiency in financial modeling to meet business requirements and articulate the business model to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in SQL and basic knowledge of data modeling is a plus, but not required.
About the Team: Being part of the On-Demand Services FP&A team, you will be responsible for regular business reporting, including weekly/monthly performance reviews and forecasting. The team is task-oriented, focusing on delivering outcomes and solving problems. Opportunities exist to collaborate with various teams and learn from the organization.
