Job Descriptions
- Assist in the monthly financial closing process but not limited to ensuring all revenues and costs incurred are recorded properly, reviewing journal entries, reconciling account balances (Project Handle)
- Oversees daily accounting and tax operations: review taxes (WHT and VAT) calculation and reporting, monitoring daily financial transactions recording, review AR & AP aging (Project Handle)
- Assist in enforcing proper accounting methods and policies that comply with the accounting standards and tax regulations
- Assist in providing financial data requested for internal management use and/or external auditors
- Assist in finance department projects i.e. implementation of ERP
- Assist finance and accounting with special projects and workflow process improvements
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the finance/accounting department for a high-growth organization or a start-up company
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and taxation compliance
- Strong MS Office skills (including but not limited to Excel formulas), Google Docs, and Google Sheet
- Well-organized and high attention to detail
- Self-driven, highly motivated, great communication, and strong interpersonal skills
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Have a multi-tasking ability and can work independently as well as in a team
- NetSuite knowledge will be advantageous
