We are seeking a skilled AI Chatbot Specialist to design, build, train, and optimize conversational AI solutions that enhance customer experience and support internal teams. This role combines technical chatbot development, conversational design, content creation, and performance analysis to deliver intelligent, user-centric chatbot interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge Base & Content Management
- Gather, structure, and maintain content for chatbot knowledge bases
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure information accuracy and relevance
- Chatbot Development & Training
- Build, configure, and train AI chatbots across platforms
- Continuously improve chatbot performance through testing and iteration
- Conversation & Flow Design
- Design logical conversation flows, decision trees, and chatbot logic
- Create clear flowcharts and conversation maps for complex user journeys
- Apply best practices in conversational UX and NLP design
- Conversational Copywriting
- Write natural, engaging, and on-brand chatbot dialogues
- Ensure tone, clarity, and consistency across all chatbot interactions
- Analytics & Reporting
- Produce churn, engagement, and performance reports
- Analyze chatbot data to identify drop-off points and optimization opportunities
- Recommend improvements based on user behavior and insights
- Customer Support & Operations
- Support customer enquiries handled by the chatbot
- Escalate issues and improve automation coverage where appropriate
- Cross-Functional Support
- Support the project management team with chatbot planning and execution
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer support teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience designing, building, or managing AI chatbots or conversational systems
- Strong understanding of conversational design and user intent modeling
- Ability to create logic flowcharts, decision trees, and structured conversation flows
- Excellent copywriting skills with a focus on conversational tone
- Analytical mindset with experience producing and interpreting performance reports
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented and user-focused approach to problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with chatbot platforms (e.g., Dialogflow, Botpress, Rasa, Intercom, Zendesk, or similar)
- Familiarity with NLP concepts and AI training workflows
- Experience supporting customer service or CX teams
- Background in UX writing, content strategy, or product design
