Job Description: Accounting and Tax Consultant

Responsibilities

• Accounting
• Handle the client’s monthly accounting compilation work.
• Reconcile accounts, whether on Excel, Xero or similar accounting systems.
• Assist AOS Seniors to collect the required financial data and information for the compilation work of our clients.
• Assist AOS Seniors to prepare our clients’ monthly financial statements.
• Report and respond to AOS Senior.

• Tax
• Handle the client’s monthly tax compliance work.
• Prepare the yearly CIT / PIT returns of our clients.
• Assist on tax reviews, audits, etc., as required by the tax seniors or managers.
• Identify possible financial or tax risks for our clients.
• Update our clients on new tax regulations applicable to our clients’ fields of business.
• Communicate closely and directly with the AOS department for data collection related to tax compliance work.
• Communicate directly with our clients’ PICs related to the tax compliance work.
• Work closely with our tax seniors and managers for approval of any important decisions related to our clients’ tax issues.
• Process the registration of our clients’ NPWP, as well as EFIN (company or individual).
• Handle any administration requirements related to the Dispenda or any other government offices in relation with tax assignments.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Strong team spirit, openness, common sense & dedication.
• Holds at least an associate degree (D3) in Accounting major or equivalent.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Analytical and creative thinking.
• Good self-presentation.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office, Accounting Systems, etc.
• Good command in PSAK and/or IFRS.
• Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines, professionalism, detail orientation, good analytical thinking and the will to learn.

• Experience criteria and language proficiency are to be evaluated during the interview process.
