Job summary
A leading electrical wholesale company in Cleckheaton is searching for a Trade Counter Sales / Warehouse person. You will play a vital role at the busy trade counter, assisting customers with their inquiries and ensuring a friendly, efficient service. The ideal candidate should have trade sales experience in electrical wholesaling, excellent relationship-building skills, and electrical product knowledge. This role offers a salary of up to £32,000 per annum with Monday to Friday working hours, no weekend shifts.
Qualifications
- Experience in trade sales at an electrical wholesaler.
- Previous work on the trade counter.
- Electrical wholesale product knowledge is essential.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers at the trade counter and handle sales inquiries.
- Ensure customer needs are met quickly and efficiently.
- Assist in other roles such as handling store duties and telephone inquiries.

Do you have some trade sales experience with electrical wholesale products?
Our client is looking for a trade counter sales person to join their team.
- Based at the trade counter, you will become an integral part of a busy and growing branch
- Deal with sales enquiries on a face to face basis.
- You will be looking after the needs of the customers, ensuring that they are dealt with quickly and efficiently whilst providing a service that ensures that customers return on a regular basis.
- You may also be required to help in other roles within the branch including stores and dealing with telephone enquiries
A well established business within the lighting electrical wholesale industry
They are a successful business with further plans for growth and new branches
This branch is growing with turnover increasing dramatically in the last few years
- Trade sales experience gained in an electrical wholesaler
- The ability to build relationships with different types of customer
- Have worked on the trade counter previously
- Good telephone manner
- Friendly, articulate, customer focused
- A driving licence would be a distinct advantage although not essential
Electrical Wholesale product knowledge is essential
Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm
