Reading
We re looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse and operations team. This is a hands-on management role where you ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring equipment is prepared, maintained, and delivered on time to meet the needs of productions and clients.
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse operatives and drivers, including workload planning and scheduling.
- Oversee equipment preparation: cleaning, scanning, loading, and unloading.
- Ensure all equipment is accurately tracked and ready for jobs and collections.
- Coordinate maintenance and servicing of assets, liaising with repair vendors when needed.
- Run weekly operations meetings and supervise truck packs.
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and compliant warehouse environment.
- Complete end-of-job checks, including missing and damage reports.
- Work closely with senior management on warehouse layout, systems, and process improvements.
- Ultra-organised, with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communicator, confident working with staff, suppliers, and customers.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- A problem-solver with initiative who can work independently.
- A team player who thrives in a busy, growing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with inventory platforms is a plus.
