• Ensuring fork truck checks are documented.
• Updating systems in a timely manner.
• Managing staff split shifts.
• Ensuring timely delivery of pick and pack contracts.
• Supporting continuous improvements and cost reduction.
• Keeping General Manager informed of issues.

Overview

An exciting opportunity for an experience Warehouse Manager in the Stoke-On-trent area (or surrounding areas).

I am working with a well established client who are seeking a new Warehouse Operations Manager, working on a night shift pattern, 20:30-06:00hrs

Salary - £45,000-£60,000 DOE

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role
• Forklift driving certificate
• Be within a 45 minute radius of Stoke on Trent

Role and Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with company policy and procedures
• Liaising with Operations and Transport for delivery/customer requirements
• Responsible for Pallet Force loading and unloading of lorries
• Ensuring H&S policy is always followed
• Ensuring fork truck checks are carried out and documented
• Ensuring systems are updated in a timely manner
• Manage and control staff split shifts system
• Ensuring all pick and pack contracts are delivered on time in full
• Supporting the process of continuous improvements and seeking to reduce costs to the business
• Keep General Manager of Warehousing and Distribution informed of any issues involving day to day operations or staff
