We\'re delighted to be working with a forward-thinking specialist manufacturer on the Wirral that supplies products across personal care, healthcare, veterinary, household, automotive, and technical markets. With a strong commitment to sustainability and responsible practices, this is a company where values really matter, and where you can be part of something meaningful.

Why this role?

As Warehouse Manager, you\'ll be at the heart of operations, leading a team of around 14 and ensuring everything runs smoothly—from goods in and dispatch to stock accuracy, yard management, and third-party logistics. You won\'t just be keeping the wheels turning - you\'ll be driving improvements, building team capability, and creating a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous progress. The business is in the middle of a major transformation with warehouse relocation, digital systems replacing paper-based processes, and opportunities to shape the way things are done. If you\'re motivated by challenge, change, and the chance to make your mark, this is the perfect time to come on board.

The successful candidate will manage a small team and report directly to the Senior Leadership Team. You will play a key role in managing, training, motivating, and reinforcing a culture of fairness, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a highly-focused and efficient warehouse operation, including Goods In/Goods Out and 3rd Party movements
  • Lead, train, and motivate a small team to deliver consistently high performance
  • Oversee the transition to a new warehouse facility, including planning, layout, and operational setup
  • Implement digital processes for goods movements, fully integrated with stock management systems
  • Manage stock movements and ensure accuracy in inventory control (FIFO, stock rotation, counts)
  • Work closely with Stock Control and Continuous Improvement teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Manage all aspects of yard operations effectively and safely
  • Deliver performance reviews, training plans, and KPIs for the warehouse team
  • Partner with Health & Safety to maintain a culture of safety first
  • Ensure stock availability for production lines in a timely and efficient manner
Skills & Experience
  • Strong people management skills - able to inspire, engage, and lead a team effectively
  • Proven experience in warehouse management, including day-to-day operations and training staff in the basics
  • Hands-on experience in overseeing warehouse relocation and redesign projects
  • Track record of implementing digital warehouse systems (experience with SAGE preferred)
