Zusammenfassung
A recruitment agency is seeking a skilled professional to ensure food safety, integrity, legality, and quality in the production environment. The role involves managing productivity, team development, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities include overseeing stock control, coordinating with departments, and implementing training plans to enhance team performance. This position is vital for maintaining high standards in production and efficiency.
Aufgaben
- Improve productivity and efficiency while reducing costs.
- Ensure a safe working environment and report near misses.
- Manage people through training and development.
- Communicate with teams and follow the chain of command.
- Build relationships with other departments for collaboration.
- Oversee activities related to products and services.
- Meet customer orders and secure high-quality materials.
- Complete daily production plans.
- Manage goods in/out area and dry goods stores.
- Ensure all required stocks for orders are in place.
- Assist Technical Team to meet BRCGS Standard requirements.
- Manage chilled and frozen stock intakes and outtakes.
- Maintain clear stock control documentation.
- Audit and manage dry goods and ingredients stocks.
- Ensure traceability and record keeping of stocks.
- Measure skills gap and devise training plans.
- Manage inventory, packing, and distribution.
- Predict demand for products and adopt new technology.
- Implement good stock rotation and eliminate waste.
- Create production plans in line with customer orders.
- Create defrost plans for customer requirements.
To ensure food safety, integrity, legality, and quality standards are met and that sales orders are completed profitably. To accomplish this by the development of the production teams, ensuring technical and Health and Safety obligations are delivered in line with current legislative requirements
Duties:
- Improve productivity and efficiency across the site whilst reducing costs with accurate day-to-day stock counts.
- Ensure a safe working environment, reporting near misses as required and foster a mindset of health and safety is a condition.
- Management people include training and development.
- Communication with teams and follow chain of command.
- Working and building relationships with other departments to always ensure collaboration.
- Responsible for overseeing activities related to the company’s products and services, including placing orders, storing, organizing services, packing, loading and delivery products.
- Meeting all customer orders and securing high quality materials for the company.
- Complete all daily production plans in line with stocks and orders.
- To manage and effectively control the goods in/goods out area/ dry goods stores.
- To ensure production processes have all stocks required for daily/weekly orders.
- To assist the Technical Team to ensure all requirements of the BRCGS Standard are met.
- To intake and outtakes of chilled and frozen stocks are managed and challenged.
- To ensure clear stock control documentation to allow the site to have clear visibility to buy and forecast.
- To ensure dry goods and ingredients stocks control is managed and audited.
- To ensure traceability and record keeping of ingredients and finished products are maintained in an accurate and correct manner and audit of all stocks completed daily and monthly.
- To assist in measuring the skills gap, devising the training plan for your team to comply with all training needs, to deliver training and record the results when training is completed.
- Manage inventory, packing and distribution.
- Identify and minimize risk by predicting the demand for products and adopting new technology with no interruption to process.
- Ensure good stock rotation is implemented and reduction/elimination of all waste.
- Create a linear productions plan in line with customer orders and review actuals vs planned.
- Ensure clear defrost plans are created for customer requirements daily and weekly.
