Job summary
A reputable education agency in the East Midlands is seeking a full-time Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Worksop, starting in January. This position is ideal for graduates, experienced Teaching Assistants, or HLTA's looking for classroom experience. Responsibilities include supervising student work set by the teacher, fostering engagement, and maintaining high standards during lessons. This is a long-term placement that may lead to permanent employment for the right candidate.
Qualifications
- Experience in a classroom setting is preferred.
- Ability to adapt and assist students effectively.
- Confidence to manage classes in the absence of the teacher.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and deliver preset work from the class teacher.
- Ensure student engagement and on-task behavior.
- Set high expectations for learning and behavior.
