Cover Supervisor – East Riding (Start: February 2026)

Weekly Pay – £400 to £500 per week

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects
  • Managing the behaviour of pupils in the classroom
  • Ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged with their work
  • Responding to questions and supporting pupils where appropriate
  • Supervising students during non‑teaching times such as lunch or break
  • Reporting back to teaching staff on behaviour or progress

You won't be expected to plan lessons or mark work – your role is to lead the classroom, keep learning on track and ensure a positive, structured environment.
