Job summary

A supportive and forward-thinking school in Blackburn is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons in alignment with the KS2 National Curriculum and create an inclusive, well-managed classroom environment. About the Role

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking school community. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning and inspiring pupils to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
  • Provide effective assessment, feedback, and support to ensure progress for all pupils
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Prepare pupils for statutory assessments where appropriate
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (ECTs welcome to apply)
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and high expectations for all learners
