A specialist education provider seeks a Maths Specialist Teacher to join a trauma-informed school in Northumberland. The role involves delivering Maths education up to GCSE, focusing on students facing challenges in mainstream education. Candidates must have at least 3 years' experience working with SEN or challenging behaviours, along with strong behaviour management skills. The position offers full-time work (40 hours weekly) during term time plus additional days and aims to create bespoke learning experiences for all students.

Salary: £120-£170 (depending on qualification and experience)
Contract: Full-time, term-time plus 3 days during holidays
Education Networkare is recruiting on behalf of a specialist, trauma-informed school seeking a Maths Specialist Teacher to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maths teacher to make a real impact on students who have struggled in mainstream education, including those with SEN, SEMH needs or disrupted learning experiences.
The school includes an alternative provision offering bespoke academic support through 1:1 and very small group interventions focused on mental health, trauma and SEN. Behaviour management experience is essential due to the nature of the setting.
Monday - Friday, term-time plus 3 days during school holidays. 40 hours per week
The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and references, in line with safeguarding regulations.
