A health education organization in Wales is seeking a Senior Leadership role within their Digital and Data directorate. You will shape and govern technical architecture, focusing on Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate has significant experience in software engineering and enterprise architecture. Responsibilities include leading development teams and ensuring adherence to NHS standards. This is a senior leadership position within HEIW's Digital and Data directorate. You'll be responsible for shaping and governing HEIW's enterprise-wide technical architecture, with a particular focus on Microsoft technologies (Power Platform, Dataverse, .NET, Azure, and the wider Microsoft ecosystem) in an Agile Scrum environment.
Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) Digital is changing the way it delivers products and services to NHS Wales. In 2024 we embarked on an ambitious, multiyear business transformation project to combine multiple digital systems into a single digital and data platform., Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) is the strategic workforce body for NHS Wales with statutory functions that include education and training, workforce planning, workforce development and transformation, leadership and succession planning, and careers. Our purpose is to develop a workforce that delivers excellent care to patients/service users and excellent population health. We are a Special Health Authority working closely with our partners; Social Care Wales, education providers, professional and regulatory bodies and Welsh Government.
