Restaurant & Event Manager, Hotel du Vin

As a full time, Restaurant and Events Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our Bistro and Events Operation. Not any one day is the same! You will be a hands‑on leader, inquisitive about delivering an intuitive service, creating WOW and memorable experiences for our guests; primarily leading the Bistro and Events operations at the hotel from the front, efficiently managing our guest expectations, having established a meticulous sense of presence on the service floor alongside a team of Assistant Managers, Supervisors and Food & Beverage Assistants through effective communication, planning and engagement. You will be empowered with the accountability of achieving your departmental budgets and meeting the objectives of your KPI's, collaborating with other heads of department at the hotel and key stakeholders. Being responsible for self‑growth in our business, coaching for performance and supporting the career development of your team members with a progressive approach is paramount to us. You will be experienced in running a brand‑reputed busy restaurant operation and looking for a step into a hotel career, or already working within a hotel in a Restaurant or as an Events Operation Manager with exceptional organisation skills and an eye for detail managing the service delivery of Meetings and Private Events in volume, looking for more responsibility and challenges to prepare you for your next role.

We are busier generally during evenings and weekends but shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed at interview.
