We are seeking a reliable cleaner for a school in Penarth, for a part-time temporary role.

Pay rate - £12.82 per hour

Hours - 7am-1pm (some flexibility possible) Monday-Friday

Duration - Temporary role, 12 weeks approximately with the possibility of extension

Please note: We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. A Criminal Record Check at the appropriate level for the role being carried out will be required prior to commencing employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness of designated areas, including common spaces, bathrooms, and classrooms.
• Perform general cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Empty waste bins and replace liners.
• Ensure the availability of clean towels, toilet paper, and other amenities.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and follow proper cleaning procedures.

What we're looking for:

• Reliable and punctual team players who can work independently or in a team.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Previous cleaning experience and experience working within schools is advantageous.
