About You & the Role

The purpose of this role is to ensure that Neg Earth’s equipment is maintained and serviced to the safest standard. You will be part of a professional operational team that consistently ensures equipment is prepared to the highest standard, within required timescales and to client’s requirements. You will be working alongside other highly skilled technicians with some of the industry’s leading technology and brands.

Your Duties

You’ll play an essential part in the company’s success by efficiently and effectively carrying out duties including:

Key Responsibilities
  • Any forklift requirements using a counterbalance, four-way multi directional forklift and electric pallet truck.
  • Loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring accurate documentation and safe handling.
  • Picking and storing warehouse equipment, and cleaning where necessary.
  • Loading and unloading equipment as required.
  • Roller painting truss, metal work and woodwork.
  • Stock management of equipment, utilising our warehouse inventory system (EasyJob)
  • As directed by management; planning and prioritising work activities of warehouse operatives and local crew.
  • Cleaning cables, cases, equipment and aluminium trusses.
  • Warehouse housekeeping and organisation.
  • Comply with all health and safety requirements.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures.
  • Check and maintain vehicles daily to ensure they are in good operational condition
  • Ensuring that work areas are always kept in a clean and tidy manner, following the principles of 5S.
  • Any other duties as required / authorised by your line manager / line management reporting line.
Essential Skills
  • Valid Counterbalance forklift license
  • Experience within a similar role or warehouse environment.
  • High level of both written and verbal communication in English.
  • Ability to take ownership for timely delivery.
  • Be solutions focused, pragmatic and have a positive approach towards teamwork.
  • Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.

  • Enjoy taking pride in their work.
  • Flexibility and focus on high-level delivery: the show must go on so providing a 7-day operation/service is key. The ability to occasionally be flexible with working hours and patterns is essential in our industry. This will encompass additional hours or weekend work. We aim to provide overtime compensation.
Desirable
  • Valid multi directional forklift license
  • Valid electric pallet license
  • Knowledge of equipment used within the entertainment business. This is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
