We're currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected building and civil engineering contractor for a Site Manager to oversee a 3-month freelance contract in Attleborough.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager with experience in industrial unit builds, particularly those involving steel frame and cladding construction, reinforced concrete foundations, and external works including car parking and landscaping.
You'll be managing a small new build industrial unit, from groundworks through to completion. The build includes:
- Steel frame and cladding superstructure
- RC foundations and pads
- External works including car park construction and landscaping
As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Day-to-day site management and supervision
- Managing health & safety compliance and site documentation
- Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers
- Liaising with the client and project team to ensure smooth delivery
- Ensuring work is carried out to specification, on time, and to budget
