Overview

Freelance Site Manager - New Build Industrial Unit - Attleborough (Norfolk)

Start Date: ASAP
Rate: Competitive Day Rate
Duration: Approx. 3 months

We're currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected building and civil engineering contractor for a Site Manager to oversee a 3-month freelance contract in Attleborough.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager with experience in industrial unit builds, particularly those involving steel frame and cladding construction, reinforced concrete foundations, and external works including car parking and landscaping.

The Project

You'll be managing a small new build industrial unit, from groundworks through to completion. The build includes:

• Steel frame and cladding superstructure
• RC foundations and pads
• External works including car park construction and landscaping

The Role

As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for:

• Day-to-day site management and supervision
• Managing health & safety compliance and site documentation
• Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers
• Liaising with the client and project team to ensure smooth delivery
• Ensuring work is carried out to specification, on time, and to budget
