Job Description:
Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company. KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
KBR is looking to recruit a Digital Enterprise Architect on a 12-month contract based in Warrington / Cumbria.

Role Overview:
The role is part of the PPP support to the Digital Asset Management (DAM) programme within Sellafield. The DAM programme is a site-wide delivery improvement initiative aimed at addressing issues with Sellafield’s asset management, with the goal of creating an integrated information system that supports decision-making and reduces paper-based processes.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the company's business strategy achieves its goals through proper architecture of its technology systems.
- Determine the technology system architecture and functional design needed to support business goals.
- Define common elements, create patterns and standards for project-level application.
- Assist management in evaluating the business mission and effective use of IT assets.
- Document processes using architectural models.
- Evaluate existing IT systems for vulnerabilities or weaknesses.
- Develop and build models, implement shared infrastructure, and maintain enterprise architecture principles and guidelines.
- Collaborate with strategy teams, supply chain, and other organizations to document ICT requirements.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance, decompose business requirements, and support business improvement and change.
- Develop ICT roadmaps and contribute to organizational portfolio planning and strategy.
- Interpret organizational changes and leverage benefits from external changes.
Skills / Essential:
- 7-10 years of experience in IT, information security, or related fields.
- Ability to scrutinize enterprise structure and improve operations.
- Data analysis skills for cost-savings opportunities.
- Developing standards and policies for IT assets.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Expertise in computer science, IT, cloud computing, and security-critical architectures.
- Ability to obtain government clearance (SC/SL – Nuclear).
Skills / Desirable:
- Ability to present ideas clearly in plain English.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Experience with asset management architecture and platforms like Hexagon j5, PEGA, IBM Maximo, SAP.
