We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Store Manager to lead our Mayfair Experience Centre.
The Miele brand is synonymous with quality, design & innovation. In our elegantly designed store, we curate a selection of the finest luxury lifestyle appliances for our clientele, delivering memorable demonstrations, bespoke consultations, and exceptional customer service.
The space is designed to host both clientele and brand partners in a luxurious and intimate environment where they can explore our collection at their own pace, ensuring a personalized shopping experience. Every detail, from interior design to displays, is thoughtfully considered to elevate the lifestyle experience.
Our Experience Centre connects dealers, consumers, and Miele, providing opportunities to close sales directly or through our kitchen design partner network, interior designers, and architects. We aim to bring uncompromising quality to our consumers, whether designing a new kitchen or dropping in for accessories.
We host immersive in-store events to bring retail theatre alive, allowing our clientele and partners to experience the lifestyle benefits of our products as part of their individual customer journey.
In this role you will be...
Leading the team to deliver a best-in-class brand and sales experience for both consumers and partners, you will oversee the overall performance and profitability of the store while ensuring alignment with company culture, style, and sophistication.
You will build relationships with clients and local partners to develop a strong network of business opportunities. Working with our partnerships team, you will design and deliver engaging events for our future customers.
You will be responsible for achieving sales, margin, and P&L targets, with the store manager heavily involved in strategy creation and execution.
This pivotal role encourages innovation within the premium and luxury sector, demonstrating success through sales growth, team management, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
What will it take to succeed...
Retail store management experience is essential, along with strong knowledge of premium and luxury brands, products, retail theatre, and trends. You should understand luxury clientele expectations and be willing to go above and beyond to impress, always focusing on sales metrics.
You must be a proven people leader with a track record of motivating and developing staff, creating succession plans, and managing in line with cultural ambitions. Providing impeccable service through your team, offering personalized assistance and expert guidance, is key to placing the consumer at the heart of everything we do.
You should be confident in sales and capable of handling challenging situations, with the ability to build relationships with local businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Previous experience in luxury retail is required.
You will be proactive, adaptable, and possess excellent planning, organization, and time management skills.
What can we offer you?
We offer a competitive salary based on experience, plus an evolving benefits package that could bring your OTE up to £74,500 (including maximum bonus potential and allowances, with a base salary of up to £56,000).
