About the Role

The Graduate Recruiting Specialist is an integral part of Latham’s Associate Recruiting team. This role will be responsible for leading all activities and processes relating to the recruitment of qualified candidates for the London trainee programme from initial contact through to offer acceptance, as well as coordinating all aspects of the Firm’s participation in various open days, law fairs, and other recruitment presentations and events throughout the UK. This role will be located in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Attending law fairs and other events as a representative of the graduate recruitment team and managing relationships with on-campus societies
  • Reviewing and assessing applications for vacation schemes and the first-year programme and leading the interview process for all programmes, from application screening and scheduling assessment centres, to making offers and delivering feedback
  • Managing the Applicant Tracking System (AllHires)
  • Co-leading on all aspects of the Spring and Summer vacation schemes and First Year Scheme, including onboarding, liaising with scheme participants before and after the scheme, and securing scheme participation from required supervisors, mentors, and presenters
  • Identifying opportunities to continually improve existing trainee recruitment processes

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Display a friendly and approachable demeanour and are an enthusiastic team player
  • Demonstrate flexibility, with a can-do attitude and an ability to multi-task effectively
  • Possess the ability to influence and challenge, while always seeking ways to improve

And have:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Relevant graduate recruitment experience, ideally in the legal or professional services sectors
  • A proven track record of quickly building credibility and trusted-advisor relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Experience delivering projects and cyclical processes
  • Strong administrative experience, managing high volumes of processes
