A community-focused organization in Magherafelt is seeking a Project Co Ordinator to support the delivery of the FORWARD Project. The role involves coordinating local programmes, effective reporting, and implementing peacebuilding interventions while adhering to guidelines. Candidates should possess a relevant degree and experience in community development, with mediation or conflict-resolution expertise preferred. The position requires strong engagement skills to interact confidently with diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent) in community development, social science, peacebuilding, community relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience delivering community development or peacebuilding initiatives.
- Mediation training or conflict-resolution experience.
Responsabilités
- Coordinate local programmes and ensure effective reporting.
- Deliver high-quality peacebuilding interventions.
- Adhere to SEUPB guidelines.
Connaissances
Formation
FORWARD PEACE Project Co Ordinator. The Project Co-ordinator will support the delivery of FORWARD Project activities within their designated area. Working closely with the Lead Project Manager, partner organisations, and community stakeholders, the post holder will co-ordinate local programmes, ensure effective reporting, and deliver high-quality peacebuilding interventions. This role requires empathy, discretion, and the ability to engage confidently with individuals and groups from diverse and sometimes opposing backgrounds. Working flexibly with all FORWARD partners across the programme you will help ensure all SEUPB guidelines are adhered to.
- Reporting & compliance
- Degree (or equivalent) in community development, social science, peacebuilding, community relations, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years ' experience delivery community development, peacebuilding, or cross community initiatives.
- Mediation training or conflict-resolution experience
- Knowledge of PEACE/SEUPB/EU funding programmes and compliance requirements
