You’ll work in a matrix organisation and report operationally through OMNIA Training and functionally through the Raytheon UK Enterprise Performance Group (EPG). Ultimately, you’ll work for the British Army, championing innovation, and helping shape the future of military training.

The Programme Controls Manager is the key interface for the Project Controls and Business Intelligence Team between function and programme leading and managing the provision of programme controls, scheduling and business intelligence for the Raytheon UK Enterprise Performance Group (EPG) assigned to the Omnia Training Team.
You will create, develop and manage an effective team of project controllers and planners responsible for project controls, Earned Value & TCIF Management on a complex training innovation programme. You will build and lead the Programme Controls and Business Information work acting as an advocate for excellence and performance helping to guide your team and the programme on the best ways of working to give clear, objective visibility of programme health and we want to build a team passionate about ensuring on time delivery, providing solutions to schedule optimisation challenges and with a commitment to playing their role in programme delivery and supporting business intelligence and KPI reporting.
The Project Controls and Business Intelligence Team is responsible for providing information and analysis for reporting, forecasting and decision making. It is vital that the Project Controls Manager provides robust and energetic Project Controls expertise to support the mission and drive the Project Controls and Business Intelligence solution and process for the programme.
The role sits functionally on the Programme Controls Leadership Team within the Raytheon UK Enterprise Performance Group (EPG) and acts as an Independent Reviewer for Gates, Estimates at Completion (EACs), Execution Readiness Assessments and Programme Independent Audits. The Project Controls Manager role will demonstrate excellent Raytheon UK values and leadership behaviours and support the work of the EPG and Raytheon UK.

You’ll want to work in collaboration with other defence training organisations, and the British Army. You won’t let bureaucracy get in the way of what needs to be done, you’ll learn lessons and share these lessons across the team.
