We are recruiting on behalf of a major international chemical manufacturer for an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations at their Upper Tier COMAH site in Wolverhampton.
In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for driving safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing in a 24/7, 365-day environment. Reporting to the Site Director, you\'ll lead a dedicated operations team, promote a strong safety-first culture, and deliver on production, cost, and quality targets.
- Lead and develop the operations team to achieve safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing.
- Ensure full compliance with COMAH, EHS, and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver the manufacturing plan to customer and business requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement and implement lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Collaborate with maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
- Manage budgets, costs, and operational performance.
- Degree qualified in science/engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years' leadership experience in chemical/process manufacturing.
- Proven track record in Upper Tier COMAH or high-hazard environments.
- Strong communicator with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
- Skilled in driving safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
