MACHINE OPERATOR

£Open DOE + Holidays start at 20 days accruing a day per year up to 27 days + Pension + Other Benefits TBD

Double Day Shift: 6.30-14.00 one-week Monday to Thursday Friday is 6.30-12.30
14.00-21.45 the other Monday to Thursday Friday 12.30-17.30

Our client offers a complete printing and packaging service as a one stop shop for a variety of markets. The successful candidate will be operating the card wrap machines alone and packing greeting cards to go to customers. They are quite fast paced machines so the successful candidate would need to be able to keep the machines fed as well as pack at the end.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

• Operate card wrap machines independently in a fast-paced production environment




• Feed greeting cards into the machines efficiently to maintain continuous operation




• Monitor machine performance and ensure smooth running throughout the shift




• Pack wrapped greeting cards accurately and neatly, ready for customer delivery




• Conduct visual quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards




• Report any machine issues or production delays to the supervisor promptly




• Maintain a clean and organised work area in line with health and safety standards




• Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets




• Assist with basic machine adjustments or clearing jams when necessary




• Work collaboratively with other team members to support overall production flow
