A leading cultural institution in London is looking for an Events Sales and Marketing Manager to maximise event space sales and execute a strategic marketing plan. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in event sales and marketing, alongside excellent project management skills. This role is crucial for driving income growth during a pivotal time for the institution.
Role Purpose: The National Portrait Gallery hosts approximately 150 ‘out of hours’ events per year, including internal events, corporate partner and sponsor bookings and private venue hires. Reporting to the Head of Events, the Events Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for maximising sales of the public spaces for events, meeting ambitious sales targets through the design and delivery of a Commercial Events sales and marketing plan. The role will play a key part in maximising unrestricted income growth at this crucial time for the Gallery.
