More information is available at Job Purpose: To lead, develop, and motivate a team of Account Managers responsible for selling Sophos Cyber Security solutions into Mid Market Public Sector accounts.

What You Will Do

  1. Work with the Commercial Sales Director to create a high energy sales environment that overachieves revenue targets and key metrics.
  2. Overachieve sales targets by maintaining competitiveness and finding innovative revenue-generating strategies.
  3. Drive weekly sales cadence focusing on deal execution and pipeline growth.
  4. Hire, coach, and motivate account managers to exceed their sales quotas and performance metrics.
  5. Support account managers through customer calls and coaching on daily matters.
  6. Create and articulate value proposals to generate additional revenue.
  7. Drive go-to-market strategies for the Public Sector sector.
  8. Conduct weekly 1-2-1 meetings to set goals and review performance metrics.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Channel, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Support, and Product Management.
  10. Manage Deal Registration and SDR leads professionally and timely.
  11. Engage with Channel Partners per the Partner Program.
  12. Maintain accurate pipeline management across the team.
  13. Provide accurate forecasts regularly.
  14. Contribute to business planning processes.

What You Will Bring

  1. Self-motivated, results-oriented sales manager with creative ideas.
  2. Proven track record of overachieving sales targets with a high-volume team.
  3. Experience supervising, coaching, or mentoring sales teams.
  4. Experience presenting to and negotiating with executives (CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, CFOs).
  5. Excellent communication skills for articulating complex matters.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative working style.
  7. Experience with channel sales models.
  8. Knowledge of sales methodologies, preferably MEDDPICC.
  9. Desirable: experience selling cybersecurity solutions, industry knowledge, existing reseller relationships, Salesforce CRM skills, degree education.
