Job description

This is a senior leadership role where your influence will span strategy product performance team development and bringing groundbreaking products to life.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Vision
  • Define long‑term product vision, goals and roadmaps across multiple products.
  • Lead the entire Product Life‑Cycle Management process with rigor and consistency.
Innovation and Market Impact
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and drive disruptive innovation.
  • Balance technical feasibility with customer needs and commercial value.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
  • Lead, mentor and inspire Product Managers and Technical Product Managers.
  • Partner effectively with R&D, Engineering, Marketing, Regional Sales Managers and other ELW teams.
Customer‑Centric Focus
  • Stay close to customer needs through direct feedback and market insights.
  • Drive product adoption and ensure continuous improvement post‑launch.
Execution and Delivery
  • Oversee product launches, positioning and ongoing optimisation.
  • Monitor performance using KPIs and guide data‑driven decision‑making.
Financial and Operational Excellence
  • Manage cost targets, pricing input and design‑to‑cost efforts with cross‑functional partners.
  • Balance risks, prioritise initiatives and ensure commercial success.
Stakeholder Influence
  • Communicate progress, strategy and insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Champion alignment across teams to secure buy‑in and accelerate delivery.

Travel: Occasional solo travel for customer visits, exhibitions and commercial training.

Qualifications

General requirements for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience with technical products.
  • MBA or advanced degree (desirable).
  • Experience in Product Management within a technical environment.
