A leading engineering and maritime organization in Plymouth is seeking a Senior Process Engineer with strong experience in design within the nuclear industry. The role involves supporting the development of a new process system and delivering engineering deliverables. Candidates should have 3-6 years of experience, a BEng/BSc in chemical/process engineering, and a solid understanding of nuclear safety case processes. This position offers a mainly remote working arrangement with on-site requirements every 6-8 weeks.
Qualifications
3-6+ years' experience of designing process systems.
Experience of working in a highly regulated industry, preferably nuclear.
Ability to conduct process calculations such as pressure drops and mass balances.
Good understanding of P&IDs and drafting standards.
Ability to write concise and comprehensive reports.
Responsabilités
Support the development of a new process system within the nuclear industry.
Deliver typical process engineering deliverables with oversight.
