Join a world‑renowned aerospace and defence organisation as a Chemical Process Engineer in Glascoed – working arrangements tbc.

Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for a Chemical Process Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team in Glascoed on a 12‑month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same.

Rate

£38.25 per hour inside / Umbrella

The Role
  • Research, design, and develop new production processes.
  • Plan, design, and execute lab experiments and pilot trials including safety paperwork (including COSHH, SOP and proficient at handling hazardous chemicals).
  • Process, analyse, and interpret trial data to draw conclusions for further development.
  • Ability to problem solve, adapt, and pivot through the technical challenges of R&D.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Experience and competent at handling hazardous chemicals and operating in safe conditions.
  • Experience in chemical process design through the entire project lifecycle.
  • Experienced with concept, basic, and detailed design of a chemical plant.
  • Experience of process hazard assessments and other technical risk assessments (including HAZOP, LOPA, and Hazardous Area Classification).
