Architectural Technician

Location: Windsor

Salary: £30-37,000

A well-established architectural practice in Windsor is seeking an Architectural Technician to join its growing team. With a strong reputation for design quality and technical excellence, the practice works across a wide range of sectors including residential, education, heritage and conservation, community, and leisure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician looking to develop their career within a supportive, collaborative studio environment and gain exposure to projects from planning through to construction and completion.

• Preparing technical drawings and construction packages
• Supporting planning and building regulation submissions
• Coordinating design information with consultants and contractors
• Ensuring compliance with UK building regulations and standards
• Producing detailed working drawings using CAD/BIM software
• Attending site visits when required

• Has experience working in a UK architectural practice
• Strong technical ability and attention to detail
• Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit or BIM workflows is desirable
• Good understanding of current UK Building Regulations
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Well organised with the ability to manage deadlines
