Job summary
A local authority recruitment firm in Rochdale is seeking a Legal Officer to join their expanding legal team for a hybrid role on a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting pre-litigation and civil litigation processes. Candidates must possess a Law degree (LLB) or equivalent and be skilled in drafting legal documents. Benefits include a competitive hourly rate, flexible hours, and weekly pay. Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a growing local authority based in Greater Manchester. They are looking for a Legal Officer to join their expanding legal team.
The role is on a hybrid basis and is on a 3 month contract with potential to extend.
- PAYE (Inc.Hol) - £22.53 - £31.31 per hour
- Umbrella - £25-£35 per hour
- Legal Officer/Paralegal to support with pre-litigation work and civil litigation
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, witness statements, schedules, and correspondence
- Assist with costs management, billing, and file closure procedures
- Must have a Law degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification
- Drafting Legal documents to a high quality standard
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines
- Hybrid working
