About the Role

Providing a world-class, personal customer service, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge, and building quality client relationships to achieve business goals whilst being an ambassador for Abercrombie & Kent and Harrods.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate competency of destination knowledge worldwide and product (Tailor Made, Small Group Journeys, LECs, Private Jet, Inspiring Expeditions)
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals
  • Conduct face‑to‑face client sales meetings and appointments
  • Develop and maintain a network of existing and new clientele through outbound sales calls, emails and in‑person appointments (including international) in order to build relationships
  • Building client base of repeat business
  • Pro‑active engagement of database
  • Exude the Harrods’ standards: manners, presentation and service
  • Contribute to and attend client events
  • Support with partnerships with other Harrods’ concessions
  • Actively manage guest relationships with a variety of touch points (e.g., acknowledge birthdays, anniversaries, etc.)
  • Design custom tailor‑made itineraries in consultation with guests for FIT and custom groups
  • Evaluate pricing received from DMC or third‑party suppliers to ensure value (A & K value and price value)
  • Communicate and advocate product and price value in support of successful conversions
  • Confirm required services with DMC and third‑party suppliers
  • Confidently use the CRM
  • Manage all financial aspects of booking in Travel Studio according to company guidelines
  • Ensure all Travel Studio booking details are complete and accurate in accordance with department guidelines
  • Maximise conversions by following up on Option Quote and Quote Pending bookings in established time‑frame
  • Research flight schedules, hotel availability and other Amadeus procedures as necessary
  • Meet or exceed established A & K Service standards
  • Maintain a minimum number of hours available on the phone per department guidelines
  • Collaborate with Sales Assistants to coordinate all pre and final documents, and assist with guest/TA contact
  • Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate booking process and sales
  • Assist Guest Relations on post‑tour issues to ensure guest satisfaction is maintained
  • Sales projects as determined by management
About You
