Job summary
A local church in Poole is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and facilitate IT and administrative services. The role involves collaboration with church leadership, staff, and volunteers to ensure efficient functioning. The position is for 30 hours per week and offers an opportunity to engage with a diverse community. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and facilitate the efficient day-to-day operations of Christ Church and its services.
Role: The Operations Manager oversees, facilitates and helps to shape the efficient day to day working of Christ Church, its IT and administrative services, working closely with the Minister, Churchwardens, Leadership Team, staff and volunteers.
Hours: 30 hours per week

Christ Church is a thriving Anglican Church with an Ecumenical Welcome set in the heart of the Creekmoor Estate in Poole. This results in our all-age congregation being drawn from many different backgrounds. Our desire to reach out to and serve our community recently led to the floor space of our building being doubled in size to add a Community Hub with a daily Community Café at its heart. Every member ministry is embedded in all we do at Christ Church as we seek to worship God and to share the love of Jesus more widely.
Creekmoor enjoys a good location on the outskirts of Poole with easy access to the sea, the Purbecks and New Forest with good transport links towards London.
