Job summary
A local support organization in Larne is seeking Personal Assistants to provide care for a disabled man with complex needs. Responsibilities include personal care, food preparation, and attending social and medical appointments. Previous experience with medical equipment is required, and a valid driver’s license is essential. The position guarantees at least 10 hours per week, with opportunities for up to 28 hours.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with personal care and medical equipment.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide full personal care including washing, dressing, and catheter care.
- Prepare food, assist with feeding and drinking.
- Attend social events and medical appointments.
