Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care and being a positive influence on the team. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting someone at the end of their life to eat, or communicating with a resident’s family, you will do so with kindness.

Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, and administer medication.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining high-quality service standards.
2. Understanding regulatory frameworks, developing risk assessments, and care plans.
3. Maintaining accurate resident records using modern technology.
4. Monitoring and managing medication in accordance with legislation.
5. Making timely decisions.
6. Providing guidance and support to team members to ensure clinical proficiency.
7. Making decisions and taking actions promptly.

Our client offers a range of shift hours, including long days and nights, depending on ward needs.
