Job description

We are looking for a feline friendly Registered Veterinary nurse to join our small team for our cat-only clinic in Southsea, Portsmouth.

We are a RCVS Practice Standards registered clinic, as well as holding an ISFM Silver Level accreditation. Our caring and supportive team is made up of: two full-time vets, a full time RVN, three part time RVNs, two receptionists and a practice manager. We are well equipped with digital x-rays, including for dentistry, ultrasound, doppler, capnograph and k-laser. We pride ourselves on giving the best care to our patients, and the whole team strongly believe in doing the best by our patients and clients.

Only 7 miles from the Portsmouth Coastline, the clinic sits amongst a busy high street of pubs, restaurants and various entertainment establishments.

What we are looking for

Our ideal candidate must have a passion for cats, always working with a cat-friendly approach; must always strive to give the best possible care, be professional, kind and motivated to work as part of the team, as well as on their own initiative.

Ideally, you will have a minimum of three years' experience, though we are happy to consider a more recent graduate.
