A prominent healthcare institution in Bristol is seeking a Senior Emergency Medicine doctor (ST3+ equivalent). The role involves leading a team in the emergency department, working on the Middle Grade rota and managing critical cases. Applicants must be registered with the GMC and have extensive experience in emergency medicine. The position is part-time for a fixed term of 6 months, offering a salary of £65,048 to £73,992 pro rata.
Senior posts in Emergency Medicine are aimed at doctors (ST3+ equivalent) who have experience working in Emergency Medicine. The post holder will work on the Middle Grade rota and, if on the senior tier, will be responsible for running the Department in the late evenings and nights. This will include leading trauma calls and cardiac arrests.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service check to review any previous convictions.
