Looking for a new challenge?

Work with Sense and make a real difference to the lives of the people we support and their families.

You don’t need any previous experience to become a Support Worker with Sense. We’ll give you full training for our roles.

You will join our amazing Supported Living team in Sheffield supporting individuals with sensory loss in their own home and with fun activities out in the community such as going to the cinema, bowling or walks in the park.

These are part‑time, permanent contracts, working 30 hours per week.

The shifts are varied over a 4‑week rota and include a mix of 8am‑4pm, 4pm‑10pm and 10pm‑8am, Monday‑Sunday. Flexibility is essential to support the valuable service we provide.

We are offering an hourly rate from £12.50 with enhanced rates for night shifts, overtime and annual pay reviews/rises.

A full manual UK licence and the willingness to drive a company vehicle is essential as we do to take the people we support to do activities outside of the home.

Please note, due to service needs the interviews for this role will be held at our site in Rotherham, and this role itself is based in Sheffield. If you have questions regarding the interview location, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
