We work closely with our customers to deliver a wide range of IT services from endpoint technology to connectivity and telephony. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients’ network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security and reliability. This role requires a deep understanding of both WAN and LAN technologies, as well as the ability to manage complex network environments.

The role is largely field‑based and our customers are primarily in London, Birmingham and Manchester. Projects vary in scale and size and can range from an entire IT infrastructure managed service (including data cabling, connectivity, wireless solutions, hosted telephony and desktop services) to smaller projects such as onboarding sites with a small number of users.

• Hands‑On Network Engineering: Independently diagnose, implement and resolve network issues directly on physical infrastructure, confidently working with hardware, on‑site equipment and end‑to‑end troubleshooting.
• Network Implementation: Configure and deploy network solutions for clients, including routers, switches, firewalls and other network devices.
• Network Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor and maintain network performance using advanced network monitoring tools. Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to minimise downtime and ensure high availability.
• Network Assessments and Audits: Conduct comprehensive assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Provide detailed reports and recommendations to clients.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to clients, resolving network‑related issues in a timely manner. Offer remote and on‑site support as needed.
• Documentation: Document network configurations, changes and procedures for reference and compliance. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date network diagrams and documentation.
• Security Management: Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems and other security technologies. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up‑to‑date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Participate in continuous learning and professional development to ensure our clients benefit from cutting‑edge solutions.
• Drivers licence – Full UK.
• Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
