Job Opportunity: Senior Network Engineer (Inside IR35) - DC LAN Refresh Project!

Are you an expert Network Engineer looking for a high-impact contract with a leading global IT company? This is a Virtual first role supporting a critical DC LAN refresh project for a secure end customer!

The Role at a Glance

• Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
• Contract Duration: 4 months (Assisting with peak load requirements )

• IR35 Status: Inside IR35 (Off-Payroll Working Rules Apply)

What You'll Be Doing

You will be the key engineering resource focusing on implementation and project delivery for Network services. This involves switching, routing, and Firewalls in a complex, multi-vendor Data Centre environment.

• Lead Network Engineering project delivery (Switching, Routing, Firewalls).
• Perform network configurations, installations, and maintenance on routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex LAN/WAN/FW systems issues.
• Prepare network diagrams and documentation reflecting current operational status.

Essential Technical Expertise

We require proven experience (5-10 years) and deep expertise in the following:

• Cisco LAN / WAN skills (equivalent to CCNP level).
• Aruba LAN skills (equivalent to Aruba ACP level).
• Demonstrable experience with Checkpoint and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Proficiency in complex routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, and iBGP.
• Experience in configuring and managing IPSec tunnels.

Important Compliance Requirements

• SC Clearance is mandatory.
• Dual Nationals are NOT considered for this role.
• The Inside IR35 status means the contract must operate via an FCSA accredited umbrella company or PAYE provider.
