Job Description
- Be the sole Category expert, leading the agenda for a personal care business.
- Drive insights and set business objectives through first-class Category delivery.
- Develop and execute effective strategies to facilitate profitable sales across all three personal care categories.
- Implement a comprehensive category growth agenda in strategic channels and customers by incorporating consumer and shopper insights to deliver best-in-class retail solutions.
- Translate data into actionable insights for the sales team to support customer presentations, listing opportunities, and successful NPD introductions.
- Provide internal reporting of EPOS weekly and on an ad-hoc basis, monitor sales trends, and manage daily sales reports in tandem with retailer inventory.
- Maintain a strong relationship with Circana to maximize data investment and diversify into new categories with potential new data sets.
- Exude leadership, agility, and create data-driven recommendations, demonstrating a passion for transformational growth and entrepreneurial drive.
- Be a key member of the UK commercial operation and the wider team, embodying CARE & CARE+ principles daily.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in category management within the FMCG/consumer industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, including Circana data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A results-driven mindset focused on achieving commercial objectives.
- Knowledge of market trends and consumer behaviors in the FMCG sector.
- Ability to access Surrey three days per week.
